To let us experience life cycles up close and personal, we have had some critters in the classroom lately. Today was a big day because our Luna moth cocoon hatched! We did a little research and learned that the Luna moth only lives for one week, long enough to mate and lay eggs. Also, we didn't have to worry about feeding it because they don't have mouths! Very interesting! We took advantage of the nice weather and let the Luna moth go free his afternoon. |
